The Care and Support (Eligibility Criteria) Regulations 2014 2014 set out the national criteria for eligibility for adult social care for adults with care and support needs and carers. Eligible needs are needs for care and support which mean the adult is unable to achieve specified outcomes and, as a result there is or is likely to be a significant impact on their wellbeing.
